In an online podcast, a white supremacist referred to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie as an ‘abomination that should be put down,’ according to court documents.

Between March 3, 2019, and February 9, 2020, Gibbons of Carshalton, south London, and Patten-Walsh of Romford, east London, are accused of promoting acts of extreme right-wing terrorism through their podcast.

Gibbons also rejects a charge of spreading terrorist materials by adding movies to an internet repository known as “The Radicalisation Library” between April 2018 and February 2020.

‘(They) are men who espouse extreme right-wing ideas,’ prosecutor Anne Whyte QC told jurors at Kingston Crown Court. They are outspoken white nationalists who are committed to their cause.

‘They reasoned that by imitating the format of a radio broadcast, they might pass off their scheme as a legitimate use of their right to free expression.’

‘In truth, what they were doing was using rhetoric that was intended to incite others to conduct acts of extreme right-wing terrorism against the people who these defendants despised.’

The court heard that 23 lengthy audio podcasts were broadcast online to an account with 128 followers, with ‘very primitive’ still backdrop photos and music interleaved.

Gibbons and Patten-Walsh are accused of endorsing the 2016 murder of Labor MP Jo Cox and glorifying Brenton Tarrant’s 2019 shooting spree in Christchurch, New Zealand, in which he killed 51 people during Friday prayers at two mosques.

The jury was also told that victims of the 2017 Manchester Arena suicide bombing, in which 22 people were killed, were referred to as “sluts” during a discussion.

Patten-Walsh allegedly said “They start screaming and that’s the bit that really pleases me because I hate those people. And it’s a sign of masculine, even though it was done by a sand n*****, masculine terror against women.”

Ms. Whyte said, “They reserve particular hatred for mixed race relationships, and they use Prince Harry and Meghan Markel’s marriage and children as prime examples of this.”

“Christopher Gibbons referred to his views that the Sussex’s baby was an abomination that should be put down and Prince Harry should be prosecuted and found guilty and judicially killed for treason.”
